For reference, Georgia\u2019s typical home value hovered around $334,000 in early Q2 2026, making our region more accessible than some pricier markets, yet the proportion of younger applicants remains modest.<\/p>\n<p>The data behind these numbers is thorough, covering all types of conventional mortgage applications\u2014approved, denied, withdrawn, or incomplete\u2014so it gives a true sense of borrowing trends among younger buyers. (Cash buyers weren\u2019t included, and applicants under 25 were grouped with those 25-34.) As someone who\u2019s spent years helping buyers find their ideal place in the North Georgia mountains, I see firsthand how affordability, lifestyle, and local market dynamics all shape who\u2019s able to make the move.
